Finally, week five! For this final week, I had originally planned to learn (or attempt to learn) how to contour from a friend who is totally "fab" at make-up. Schedules, however, did not work out and alas, I was forced to finish out my week attempting to do my own make-up again. But that is okay, because it will serve as a good progress check for how far I've come.
In order to best see my progress, I decided to use the same color palette, brushes, etc. I also used my handy-dandy iPad and had a little fun with documenting the progress. So lets begin!

How I felt at the beginning of this process.. & my messy make-up bag.
Of course I started with my foundation, a process which I did not document this time. It went well, however. You can trust me.
I then moved on to applying my eye-lid primer. This process is relatively easy and difficult to mess up, so again, it went well. In case I haven't mentioned, the eye-lid helps make the eye-shadow lay and appear better on the eyelid. (I made a cool gif to insert at this point, but it apparently is not embeddable. boo weebly.)
Post primer, I was able to start applying an all-over white, and begin adding on the brown. I used my blending brush to then blend the brown into the white. (Again, I have a cool time-lapse gif thing to insert and it's not working.) Once this was blended, I used a smaller, looser blending brush to add in the light pink.
Now that the eye-shadow is all set, I was able to add in the eye-liner. I had a bit of confidence and tried to wing with my stick eye-liner, but it didn't work as well as the liquid eye-liner does. And it's also easier to do it on someone else. A quick whip of the mascara and I was done!
Overall, I felt pretty good and the moves and brushes are seeming to get easier the more I do it. I can't wait to continue to develop these skills and do more in the future!
